Can't access email through mobile or desktop clients

I am no longer able to access my email account through apps on my phone or desktop email clients. I think others are having the same problem. Is there a fix?

Is Login 2.0 already enabled for your account? Do you use 2FA? Have you created app passwords? How are you trying to access your e-mail account? Do you use IMAP&SMTP?

Yes, I have 2FA enabled but have had it for months. It suddenly stopped working a few days ago. What changed?

I have the same issue for a week now - can't login on the web with the PIN + 2FA - and support is not replying to my ticket


I guess it's related to their new 2FA system


Would be appreciated to get some official acknowledgement / communication

Can you login with your standard password? If not, have you tried to reset your password? https://kb.mailbox.org/en/private/account-article/forgotten-your-password#providing-information-for-password-reset

The password works on this forum and in SMTP / Outlook. The web login with PIN + 2FA didn't work

Login 2.0 is not yet activated on my account

I have taken the risk and reset the password, then I reset the PIN + 2FA - now everything is back to normal

strange that it stopped working before
