iPhone email app keeps blocking sending to certain email addresses

iPhone email app keeps blocking certain email addresses arbitrarily, only on mailbox.org outbox.The message reads:”cannot send mail, <emIl address> is not a valid email address and has been rejected by the server. The message has been placed in your Outbox”.
When sending the email to the same recipient, through your web interface, the message is sent no problem.
Please advise. This has been going on for some time now.

In the IOS mail setting under Outbound emails please remember to add your emailaddress and password eventhough its marked as optional. It worked for me.
