What happened to the star + flag markings?

I can only see the colored flag markings now. The stars are gone.

Is there a setting to change so I can get the stars back?

I have the same question and made the same complaint in another thread. The only way to get the stars back seems to be to go back to the old interface. When Mailbox.org takes that offline we'll be stuck with this new awful "alpha" quality (not even beta quality) webmail interface. Please Mailbox.org, keep the old suite online! Don't make us switch!

How do we revert? I hate the new fonts and aesthetic. :D

My workflow (payments, follow-up mails) depends on the star, that is now lost... Is there a way to find out which mails I starred before? They all seem to be gone. Help!

So switching to the old interface as pointed out by 6491012 (https://office-sso.mailbox.org/appsuite/#!!&app=io.ox/mail) does work and it does show the stars again, but the list does not seem to be sortable on the stars anymore. I have to manually go through the whole list, find the stars manually, and apply a flag of some colour to them. Then, in the new interface, does flags are visible. This seems to be the only way not to break my workflow and forget things.

Very unthoughtful of you, mailbox.org! You could have seen that your users rely on the stars! Why did you take them away? Whatelse will be taken in the future? The service feels a little unreliable now.

Well, this is very interesting. On the German language side of this forum someone (Stephan) looked it up in the Open-Xchange documentation and discovered that the star flag marking is a server side configuration option. That means that Mailbox.org purposely chose to delete the feature when they switched to the new interface. Or they're just incredibly sloppy and didn't bother to compare the two interfaces. Not good either way!
