How to sync Tasks via CalDAV?

According to this support article, you can apparently sync tasks via CalDAV the same way as with a regular calendar. Problem: there is no properties button when selecting the menu button on a tasks folder. I was able to add a regular calendar this way, but for tasks there simply isn't a properties menu, so I can't find the CalDAV link. I haven't been able to find one anywhere else either, e.g. the share button.

I want to sync my tasks to Thunderbird clients, but this is preventing me from doing so. Without it, I'm just not going to use the Mailbox.org calendar system at all, as I may as well stick with my Google Calendar if I can't even actually use it properly here.

I talked to support and they said that the the Thunderbird addon, TBSync (https://github.com/jobisoft/TbSync), adds the functionality we're looking for. However, there is an issue with the newest TBSync and the newest Thunderbird release (github issue:https://github.com/jobisoft/TbSync/issues/591). I'm just following the issue and waiting for the eventual fix.

With newer versions of Thunderbird, there is no need for any add-on.

For tasks, you can find the folder id in the URL like explained here for address books :

Happen to have any pointers? I was able to follow the steps on the above guide for synchronizing my calendar, but couldn't get it to work when trying to set the same thing up in Thunderbird for my tasks.

I figured out my issue, so thought I would share the resolution for my particular case, in case it helps anyone who stumbles on this thread searching for answers.

I (mostly) followed the instructions on the link above, but was trying to use the carddav URL for tasks, and it needs to be the caldav address instead. As soon as I tried that change, everything worked, and I'm now able to have tasks synchronized between mailbox.org, my desktop and laptop computers running thunderbird, and my android phone.

The new version of Thunderbird (115.0) doesnt show the tasks. You can add the calendar just fine and all the appointments and dates are there but you cant see your tasks in the Task tab in TB and you can not add a new tasks. TB says that the mailbox calendar is not compatible with tasks.

Has anyone resolved this? Thunderbird 115.6.0 still says that tasks are not supported by the mailbox.org calendar

Same here, if I want to add a new Task in Thunderbird I can only choose the default local "private" calendar of Thunderbird itself but not my mailbox.org calendar. Even if the calender works fine regarding appointments. But not with tasks ...
