"Recipient address rejected: Domain not found" means there is some issue on recipient side, right?
Proposed
I received this error when I tried to send an email:
The server response was: <orm@cpc.incometax.gov.in>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found
Before reaching out to the recipient org I wanted to ensure that there is nothing I can do from my own or mailbox.org side.

This mailaddress should work. It exists.
peer@localhost ~ $ dig cpc.incometax.gov.in MX @9.9.9.9 +short
10 dcpvaegimic1.incometax.gov.in.
10 dcpvaegimic2.incometax.gov.in.
Maybe they had some issues in the past, maybe they're not set up properly. Maybe they already fixed it - but maybe you still see some glitches from a broken setup?

Tried the new downloadable configuration profile using a QR-code today but it consequently fails to validate the password for outgoing mail (smtp) after it was accepted in the previous step for incomming e-mails (imap).
This is the returned message: MFMessageErrorDomain error 1039.
So it's clear that there is something wrong with password validation on the smtp-server side.
